Friday Freebie Roundup

Yay! for more freebies! I know I say this all the time but I really do love the freebies. So, here we go again.
Starting us off this fine (cold, windy...*grumble, grumble*) day is a deal from york photo. They are offering 40 free prints! Yay for free photos! Just use the code YMW4CP. After you use the code, you can also get any more prints for 4 cents a piece! They also have 40 free prints for your first order from them, but I don't know if the deals stack. Hopefully they do, but oh well if they don't, its still 40 free prints.
Thanks Freebies2Deals

Next up we have a free sample of True lemon. These are flavor crystals that you can use to flavor water or other things I'm sure, but that's the only one I can think of. So, go here and fill out your information to get your free sample! They will send you a confirmation email that you have to click on the link in it. So I guess this one is a little more work than most, but still free. :D

Okay, now we have a free thermometer on a keychain. It could be useful. Go here to claim yours.

Wow, there really weren't that many today. Sorry. But oh well. We'll have more on Tuesday I'm sure.

Friday Freebie Roundup

Wow, it feels like time flew. Time for yet another roundup of freebies. I always wonder if I'm going to run out of these, but it seems that everyone is always offering new ones. So here we go again.
Starting us off is one for the little ones in your life, whether that be your kids, grandkids, nieces/nephews, or children of close friends. Talla sales is giving away a free plush tiger. Just fill out your information and your toy (can you say Christmas or birthday) will be on its way.

Woohoo! I love candles and aromas! and here we can get 4 free samples. You can choose from:
Fruit,
Flower,
Clean,
Cinnamon,
Vanilla,
Bakery,
Spice,
Musk-Natural.
You will need to confirm an email, so you may not want to send this one to your junk email address.
Thanks Our Thrifty Ideas

Next on our list is a free mousepad from hostohost.com. I know, I know, a free mousepad? But these days, with so many people using computers, you probably know someone who has a mousepad that is wearinng out. Why not give that tech-savvy person in your life something they will use, (and that you actually didn't have to pay for) ;) Again, just fill out your information, ignore the pop-up window, and your mousepad will be sent out in 2-4 weeks.

Right now you can grab a free sample of O.B. Tampons.  Plus, it includes a cute carrying case.  You should get this freebie in about 6 weeks. The carrying case alone is worth your time to get this, that way you can carry some tampons with you at all times, but no one has to know that's whats in the case. (Nice and discreet). You may have to register to get this one.
Thanks Freebies2Deals

Well, the logo may not be my favorite, (and it may not be yours either) but I use sticky notes ALL THE TIME. So when I get this offer for a free 50-pg pad of sticky notes... I jump on it. Go ahead, I'm sure you can find a use for them. ;) Again... just ignore the pop-up window, it isn't needed.
Again, something I use all the time... White out! (At least that's what I assume when they say a correction pen) Just go here and fill out the form, hit submit, and get your freebie in 6 to 8 weeks.
Well, this one may not quite be a freebie, though I'm hoping that with doubling the coupon may make it so. Here is a high value Special K coupons. $1 off Special K granola cereal. Print it twice! Unfortunately, the coupon for the shakes was all printed out.
OOH!!! I love stuff for my feet. They definitely need some pampering attention. I'm sure yours could use some too, so go here to request your free sample (that comes with a $2 coupon as well). Enter the promo code HFEET1. Fill out your information, and submit, and it should take about 2 weeks for processing and shipping. (so I'd say 3-5 for delivery). Thanks Our Thrifty Ideas.
Okay, I am way super excited about this one! A free pampering session! with a free sample at the end. Here is what is included:
  • a free five-minute stress-relieving neck and shoulder massage
  • a free Stress-Relieving Hand Ritual
  • a free makeup Finishing Touch
  • a free Aroma Sensory Journey
  • a free cup of Aveda’s (very tasty) Comforting Tea
  • a free "lavishly sized" sample of Aveda Hand Relief cream (which, the Aveda folks tell us, translates to 25ml. Think: tube the height of your iPhone or Blackberry.)
Doesn't that sound great?! Go here to get your coupon for it.  I have to say, I am way super excited to go get that done.
Next up is a lotion sample for Eucerin cream. I'm good with that. Go here to request your sample, and then allow 4 weeks for it to get to you. Thanks Our Thrifty Ideas.
Sorry, no picture for this next one. Technically, on this one you will be signing up for a travel brochure for China; however, as a gift for doing so, they're going to send you a free silk scarf. So, head on over to China's Lantern and get your free scarf.

And that's all for today. Good thing too, my baby is waking up, and its time to make dinner.

Freebie Roundup

It's that time again! It is our Tuesday Freebie Roundup, and if all the ones I've found over the past 3 and 1/2 days are good, then we'll have quite a few coming. I have to say, this is one of my favorite parts of the whole thing. I love getting the freebies, and if I'm going to get things for free, why not let all of my friends know about it too?
And, starting us off on this beautiful spring day, we have a freebie for a Dr.Scholl's For Her insert. Now, I personally am hoping that it is for the left foot, because there was one for your right foot in the May issue of the All You magazine. SO... This is a facebook freebie, so go here and become a fan, and then you can get your freebie by filling out your info and clicking submit. *crosses fingers that its a left foot insert*

Next we have a free tape measure! It is a 10 foot tape measure, so it isn't like the one's at the hardware stores, but it has enough length to measure most things. (at least most I personally would need it for).  This one will take a couple steps. First go here and click on 'Request a Sample'. Then pick your color and click 'Add Sample'. Then, when you checkout, you will need to register, and then on the next page, 'Place Order'. That's all you have to do. No shipping charge even, which was a pleasant surprise to me.

Okay... this one isn't quite a freebie, but its a pretty dang good coupon. Go here to get a $1.25 mfr coupon. Fill out your information, and click on 'Get Coupon Now'. Then, print your coupon. (twice)
Continuing on... we have a free sample of flix sticks. These are basically tooth picks that also have floss and are flavored. Go here to order your sample pack. Just fill out your information, and they will send you a coupon for it.

Next we have another free tote bag, as long as you are willing to advertise for WellCare. (The bag has their advertising all over it). I personally don't care much what my bags say, especially when they're free. So, just go here and fill out your information.  Sorry, I can't say how long it will take though.
Next in line is a free baseball cap, and it actually looks cute! Especially with summer coming up, this is a great freebie. Spend time in the sun, and don't burn your nose. So, go to the Rosso Designs website to fill out your information. Once you hit submit you will get a pop-up window. Just close that one out, you don't need to do anything there. Then your hat will come within 3 to 6 weeks.

YAY!!!! We have another shampoo/conditioner freebie! I know I've told you before how much I love these, but seriously, they're the best. Especially if you ever take trips. This is a different offer for the John Frieda Root Awakening product, so you can get this even if you've already got one. Just go here and sign up. You're freebie should arrive in about 4 weeks.
Well, I personally think this is pretty cool. You can get a free poster of a country (Japan, Egypt, Spain, England, Italy, or France) through eftours. Just fill out your information, and answer a few quick questions. Then hit submit and your poster will be on the way.

Okay, well, that is all for today. Have fun with those.

My favorite deals

Well it's Monday again, so its time to let you know about my favorite deals for the week (from the Sunday ads at least). So here we are:
Walgreens:
-On Thursday only, they are having a HUGE sale on printer in refills. With all the printable coupons, I use a lot of ink, so this will be fantastic! Using a coupon from their ad, you can get your ink cartridges refilled for only $1!!!! That is crazy insane, and I love it!
Rite Aid:
Here we have one on the new U by Kotex tampons and pads:

-U by Kotex $3.49
            $3.49 SCR
            $1 mfr cpn (4/18 SS)
            $2.49 OOP
and, with the $3.49 SCR, its actually a $1 money maker!
Target:
This one doesn't have a coupon, but it is still a screamin' good deal
They have London Broil beef on sale for $1.99/lb. It is usually $4.99/lb, so if you're wanting beef, now is the time to buy that one. But those were all of the really good deals I found.

Freebie Roundup

Here we are! Already at Friday again. So here is the latest round of freebies for you.

Starting us off (sorry, without a picture) we have a free wood air freshener for you car. Go to AJ-Tuning to fill out the form and they will send it to you. You do have to confirm an email, but once you do that, it should come in 1 to 2 weeks.

Next we have a free sample of the new pretzel M&Ms. It is a facebook freebie, so it will ask you to allow certain things. Go here to sign up, allow the application, but you don't have to allow it to post comments (it does ask). But that is all you need to do. Other than filling out your info of course.

And now we have a free sample of Stayfree Therma control. As I've said before, feminine hygiene supplies are always expensive, so freebies are always a welcome one there. Go here and click on try it for free. Then just fill out your information and submit it, and they will ship it out to you.

Here is a free mug, as long as you don't mind advertising for them. Just fill out the information, the advertising is just using a mug with their name on it. So... fill it out, and you'll get your mug in 3 to 4 weeks.

And from the same company, here is a free pencil. Again, just fill out your info, and then wait 5-6 weeks on this one.

Now, these are more for your kids, grandkids, nieces, nephews... (whichever fits the small children in your life) Fizzy Wizzies bath tints sample. Red, Yellow and Blue bath tints that you can use to color the water, and then your kids can mix and match as well, (so you're also teaching them about colors) Go to the Fizzy Wizzies webiste to request your free sample. The sample pack will include 25 tablets (which they say is good for 5 to 8 baths) Just go fill out your information and submit the form.

And here is a sample for Nelsons pure&clear face wash. Fill out the form, answer a question about their product, (find the answer here) and submit the form. You do have to put something in both address lines, so I just put my address twice.

Next up we have a free bar of handmade soap. I don't have any idea what it will be like, but I can't complain about having more soap around. Go here to fill out your information. When you submit it, it will open a pop-up window, you don't have to do anything with that. Then allow 6 to 8 weeks for delivery.

Okay, this next one is called a Beinggirl sample. Its a combination of various different feminine hygiene products. As I said before, I'm always good with these because they are fairly expensive generally. So, go here and fill out your information, submit, and then it will take 3 to 5 weeks.

And last, but not least, we have another feminine hygiene freebie, this one through Walmart. So... go here and sign up. And that's it until next time. Have fun with your freebies.

New favorite deal!

Okay, I just found a new best deal at Smith's for the week. I paid $4.30 after tax for all of this cereal! See below for how.

They have their Quaker Life, and Cap'n Crunch cereals on sale 5/$5. (You  have to buy 5, and you can only do this once per transaction) So these were bought in 2 transactions. All of the associated food stores ads had $3/5 Quaker coupons in them. (Ridley's, Fresh Market, Allens, Macey's, Buy Low are all AFS) These were manufacturer coupons, so if you cut them out, you could use them at Smiths.
So... use your Fresh Values card, buy 5, then use your $3 coupon, and you are now spending $2 to get $5 boxes. I just listed 5 stores that will have that coupon in their ad. Some of them would have come from the Sunday paper, some would have come in the "junk" mail. So, theoretically, you could get 25 boxes of cereal for $10! That would get you pretty close to set until the next major cereal sale. (depending on the number of people in your family, and how often you eat cereal)

Monday, April 12, 2010

My favorite deals

So, my favorite deals this week happen to both be from Target, and they combine together. So... You will need to do 2 separate transactions for this. For the first one, buy:

-2Gillette Fusion razors @ $6.94 (price match Walmart)
$5 gift card wyb 2 (or cartridges)
            2 $4 mfr cpn (fusion)
$2.94 ea OOP (but get $5 gift card)
Transaction 2:
-5 Kellogg’s granola cereal $2.39
            $5 gift card wyb 5
3 $1 mfr cpns RP 3/28 (I only had 3, but if you get more than 3 papers, you can use up to 5 cpns
Use $5 gift card from razors
$0.79 ea OOP (and get $5 gift card)
So, you end up spending $9.83 OOP and have a $5 gift card to pocket for next time, so actually, $4.83 for 2 razors and 5 boxes of cereal.

Different sort of Freebie Roundup

I've been giving you guys all these freebies that I've been finding. Well... They definitely have started coming in for me. I think I got something free every day this past week. In fact, here is a picture of everything that came in my mailbox this past week.

My favorite deals

Okay, so looking through the ads from today's paper, I didn't find many deals that I thought were very good. But here are my 2 favorites:
Rite Aid:
Gillette Fusion Razors $8.99
      SCR $4
      $4 mfr cpn (PG 4/4)
$4.99 OOP (but get $4 back later)

Target:
Schick Quattro/Intuition razors $6.99
      $5 gift card wyb2
$4 mfr cpn (for either) (SS 2/28)
$2.99 OOP (but get $5 back)

Total after rebates and gift cards? $2 total for 3 razors

Freebie Roundup

So, I've decided that the best way for me to do the freebies is to collect them throughout the week (unless I find time-sensitive ones) and then post them all on Friday. Yes, I know, today is Saturday, my blog website was not quite working right yesterday, so I wasn't able to get it done. So, here it is on Saturday. Next week it should be on Friday though. They are going to all be in one post, so it may take a while, but I'll get it done for you most weeks. (Sorry, my blog isn't my life ;) ) So here goes...
First on the list is the Ghirardelli coupon. We all love chocolate. Well, here's a coupon for one of the better brands of chocolate. It's $1/2, so not the best, but still a good coupon, especially somewhere like Family Fresh Foods, where they double coupons.  (Unless its a DND, I'm out of printer ink, so I can't tell you. I'm hoping to fix that issue today)
Here's freebie number 2 with a  free sample of Dove Men+Care. Go here to request your free sample. Just click get a free sample, fill out your information, answer a few questions, and submit. You should have your free sample in about 4 weeks.
Freebie #3: Free samples of Emergen-C. We're at the tail end of cold and flu season, but it can't hurt to get more Vitamin C. Go here and click which recipe sounds best to you. They'll send you the recipe, and the flavor of Emergen-C that goes with it. After you click, fill out your info (and pick your recipe again) It doesn't say how long, but I would guess 4-6 weeks for arrival.
Moving on... Free Samples of shampoo! I LOVE THESE!!! Pantene may not actually be my favorite brand, but free shampoo samples are the best. I know I say this all the time, but what a great item for traveling! So anyway, go here, and pick your hair type (or the sample you want to receive) You do have to be a member of Vocalpoint, so sign up if you aren't already. Once you sign in (if you're already a member) you don't even have to fill out your information, because they already have it. Your sample should arrive in 6-8 weeks. (Just in time for summer vacation right?)

OOH! Another shampoo freebie. (I don't need to repeat the benefits do I? *wink*) So, go here to claim your free sample of John Frieda Luxurious volume shampoo/conditioner. Fill out your information, and answer a few questions. That's all there is to it.
Okay everyone, Vistaprint is still having their 10th Anniversary sale going on. They've got their top 10 products free! You can get free photo calendars, mugs, tote bags, business cards, labels, photo flip books, mouse pads, and more. Go get 'em. You will have to pay shipping, but it ends up being like $5 for your order.

YAY!! More shampoo freebies! This one is Loreal. Go here to get it. I believe you can pick either the EverStrong or the EverPure, but you may be able to get them both. You do have to create an account with MyLoreal. So, go register, and your sample should arrive in 8-10 weeks. It looks like you may be able to get both samples.

Well, here's another shampoo sample, but this is for your guy. (or you if you are a guy) It will go through a very short video, and then at the bottom you will have some options. Click on request an Aveda Men sample. Fill out your information, and it will give you a certificate to print and take in to your local Aveda Salon.
While you're heading over to your Aveda salon, pick up a free sample of their Carribean Therapy Body creme. Go here, You can either order it online, or go in-store. If you want to go to the store, simply scroll down, and print your coupon.
Okay, well, here's a baby sample, I know I like these. Go here to order your free Baby Barn shampoo and lotion. Just fill out your information, select what scent you want, and submit. They will send you an email confirmation that you have to click on to get your free sample, so this one you may not want to send to your junk email address, but that's up to you.
Free Crest toothpaste and mouthwash samples. I have to say, I love the samples for things that I actually need. Even if it is only good for a few uses, that's a few uses I didn't have to pay for.  So, go here and fill out your info, and submit.

Phew! I did it. And all before my baby woke up from her nap. (Though I think that is just barely) Have fun with all of those!

My cereal escapade

So, I went to Smith's as I said I would, and here is what I found. They do indeed take all the coupons, so the deal I posted yesterday would work nicely. HOWEVER... I also found that people seemed to really like the $1.50 (before coupons) cereal. The shelves were very bare. I was not able to get the cocoa pebbles last night, and I was lucky to get 8 Honey Bunches of Oats before they were gone too. It was still a great deal, so I didn't want to pass it up.
Then... This morning, I figured that since the ad came out on Wednesday, they may have restocked. I headed over there around 10:00 in the morning, and the cereal shelves were very full. They did restock. I was quite happy. So I bought my 4 boxes of Cocoa Pebbles, paid $4, and got $3 back in a Catalina. So all in all, I spent $20, got 9 bags of whopper eggs, 12 boxes of cereal, 2 dozen eggs, and 2 packages of Red Vines (also on sale) and a $3 off my next purchase. I don't know the percentage savings. Sorry.
