Rite Aid 101

Well, I told you I'd have this up soon. So, here is my info post on Rite Aid, and what little tricks there are for that store.
In my opinion, Rite Aid is fairly straightforward in the way they accept coupons. One manufacturer coupon, one Rite Aid coupon. For anyone interested, or if you are in the habit of carrying the coupon policies with you, here is Rite Aid's official coupon policy (Thanks Deal Seeking Mom) The coupons cannot exceed the amount of the item, but generally they'll just adjust the coupon down to the item price. I'm not going to list everything that is in their offical coupon policy, but here is my favorite part. "If a customer presents a Buy One Get One Free coupon for the purchase of two items that are on a Buy One Get One Free promotion; we accept the coupon, essentially making both items free."
There are a few extras involved with Rite Aid though.
First of all, they have an online coupon section called Video Values. What this is: You watch some videos, and they give you coupons. Fairly straight forward. You can also find Rite Aid coupons in their ad every Sunday.
The next extra thing that Rite Aid does is the Single Check Rebate (SCR) program. What it is: A simple way to get rebates for items that you buy, all items throughout the month in a single check (rather than 5 different $1 checks). How it works: There is a SCR ad in the stores that you can pick up, so that you know the different rebates that are going on throughout the month. They will also list some every week in their ad. So, you buy some of the items that are have a SCR amount. When you get home you go online to their website and find the Single Check Rebate link (at the bottom), or just go here, and sign up. Once you have signed up, put in the receipt info it asks you for. They will then automatically see which items you purchased that had a SCR on it. Keep doing this throughout the month, and then at the end of the month you can request a check. Be careful though. You will want to make sure you wait until the month is over, because if you request your check for that month,  you cannot request another one. So, if you requested it before the month was over, and then bought more that month, you'd be out of luck.

Now, I personally have had issues at Rite Aid because I can't always get there first thing Monday morning. A lot of the good deals will be sold out by the time I get there. However, Rite Aid will do Rain Checks, as long as it isn't a SCR item. So, you will want to do a couple things to combat the out of stock issue. First; ask your Rite Aid when they restock. (I haven't checked mine yet) If your Rite Aid restocks on Wednesday, that might be the reason it seems to always be sold out so early on Monday. If you're still having problems, ask them for a Rain Check. Again, they won't give them for the SCR items, but some of the other deals you can still get.
That's all I can think to tell you for Rite Aid. I hope that helps.

Ridley's ad

Well... Their weekly ad isn't up yet, so I will have those deals for you (double coupon Tuesday!) as soon as I can. Sorry.

FREE Bodycology lotion from Walmart

Walmart is giving away yet another freebie. I love it when they do, because Walmart's are fairly reliable. There have been a lot of freebies I've ordered, and not received, but I don't believe any of them are from Walmart. This time they are giving away a free sample of lotion. You get your choice of either cherry blossom, or cucumber melon. Go here to request yours.

Paper Deal at Staples

Okay, technically this could have come in yesterday's post, because the Staples ad did come in the Sunday paper. However, it wasn't in my idea of "groceries" so I figured I would just give it a separate post.  Dollar Days are back at Staples, and paper is included. It is the HP multipurpose paper. Now, it will actually be $4.99 OOP, but Staples has an easy MIR available on it for $3.99, so you end up paying $1. You are also allowed to buy 2 reams of paper and get the rebate on both. So, you would spend $10, but get $8 of it back.

FREE Propel

Here's another Facebook Freebie for you all. Just go here and "like" them, and you can then request a free sample of Propel powder (so you can then mix the drink whenever you want).
