Rumor Has It...

That Smith's will be doing their "double coupon" event again starting this Wednesday. Just in case you don't remember how this works, coupons with a value under $1 will become $1. So a $0.25off coupon will be $1 off, as will a $0.50 off, $0.55 off, and $0.75 off (and any random numbers in between). Any coupon of $1 or more will stay the same.
I have to say, it seems the stores down here in Utah County are now competing for the couponers' business, and I couldn't be happier. Ridley's doubles coupons every Tuesday, and Smith's seems to be doing their double coupon event once a month. I'm good with that. The time it takes to walk the aisles finding every deal I can is a little much for me to do much more than once a month, especially with a little one. There should be info about this in the Smith's ad that comes out today (in your mailbox). If you are like me, and your mailman isn't very reliable, you can probably also go online right now and look it up.

Grocery Store deals

I know this is a day late today, but it really isn't my fault. The ads didn't come til a day late. Silly holidays messing up my timing. ;) That's okay though, I prefer to have the holiday. So anyway, in my opinion there weren't only 3 stores that had any deals worth mentioning. Now remember the deals I post are always IMO (in my opinion). That is why I always suggest finding multiple blogs. I won't see all the deals, because there are somethings that my brain automatically skips over. For example, my blog is the wrong place to look for deals on soda. I don't drink soda, my husband doesn't drink soda, so I have no idea if there are coupons or rebates or what a good price is for it at all. So obviously, if you're going for soda deals, you'll need to find another blog. Anyway... getting back to the grocery deals.
Sunflower Farmer's Market:
I think I've said this before, but I will reiterate, Sunflower is more of a health foods store (not entirely, but the majority of "couponing" cannot be done there. That being said, they often have great prices on meat and produce, and if you are going for the health foods, then they're great, and its actually one of my favorite stores to shop at.
